Staining Issue

Well I had an issue with staining. One side of my door turned out beautiful, well the other side was a different story. I'd love be to be able to post of picture of the issue to get an opinion on whether or this was a "staining issue" or a "prep issue".
However, this was their response “He says this is a stain issue, not a wood issue. We’ve been working with TMCobb for nearly 7 years now, and I will tell you they will admit when their product is faulty, or if they did something wrong. “
Now I’m left to my own resources to see how I can fix this issue.. I’m not happy.
