My company entered into a lease agreement with First City Capital in 2008 and paid the required deposit. We then cancelled the lease and requested a PARTIAL refund of the deposit. First City agreed to refund $2500 of the deposit but failed to issue the check. After months of trying to contact them, the finally agreed to a payment schedule in May 2009 where they agreed to pay $250 per month for 10 months (why they needed almost a year to issue a refund is anyone's guess). BUT, they made only two payments until we contacted them MANY TIMES. They then paid all but $300 and now will not respond at all. It appears that they are having some financial difficulties. I'm certain that they would not be this patient with any of their customers!! The only communication I have received from them, for almost 3 years, is an anonymous email (info@firstcity). It's pretty bad when you work for a company are ashamed to reveal your identity. I would not do business with them nor recommend them to ANYONE!!
