Review 10/12/2007
|
I ordered a mattress on Aug 30 2007. It was supposed to be shipped in 5-7 days. Today is Oct 12 2007 and I still haven't received it. This item was sent to the incorrect address 3x, even though I have an e-mail from the company confirming the correct address. Each time it was reshipped it was again sent to the incorrect address. This company never required a signature from the delivery company to confirm who received the item. Every time I checked the tracking # and saw this was going to the wrong address again, I immediately called and e-mail fastfurnishings but never got a prompt response. It actually took 2-3 days each time for anyone to e-mail or call back, so by that time the mattress was already delivered again to the wrong address. When the third one was sent to the wrong address I convinced UPS myself to require a signature before dropping it off at this incorrect address and of course the person there refused to sign. That mattress was supposed to be re-routed to me according to Julie Fons, but it was returned to the shipper instead. I think a fourth mattress may be out there somewhere but no one knows where. I am supposed to get a full refund-we'll see. In the interm my son has had to sleep on the couch at his new apartment. This was supposed to be a birthday gift for him along with a platform bed, which is yet another horror story of ordering on line. But fastfurnishings also know as affordablebeds.com takes my vote for most incompetent owners and employess of the year.
