My review is just like Dawn H. CFG charged me $3,500 and over a period of almost 2 years the lady assigned to me from CFG just kept telling me to be patient. She kept telling me these things take time and that she and CFG were having great success with other loan modifications. They said that everything was going great and that they were sure the modification would happen right at the end of 2010. My home was sold at auction in February and I only found out when the new owner came knocking on my door to tell me and my family to get out. I placed my trust in this company and they failed. Now they are telling me that they did nothing wrong. The President has told me that they documented everything and that they will not give me a full or partial refund. I feel he is trying to scare me into not pushing this further. I wish I had done this modification on my own. I am sure I would still have my home and the $3,500 I paid this company.
