On February 4, 2011, we ordered, what we thought were Lego 'Sets' that are listed on their website by 'pictures'. Fourteen days later, we received a package of manuals to the tune of $140.00. I contacted them, via email, and said that wasn't what was listed or what I paid for. They said to return them with Signature Confirmation, which I did. Just now today, March 21, I received a partial payment, they kept $26.00, which I paid. If I ordered the wrong thing, my bad, but they misrepresent their items as 'sets' when it's just the books. Are they getting $25.00+ dollars from hundreds of people?? This is outrageous and everyone needs to report them for consumer fraud, bad business practices, misrepresentation, and just bad overall customer service.

Well lets take a look at the other side of the story and all the information that you left out of your tall tale story shall we.
The order was placed in the Lego Instructions Category of the store, NOWHERE does it state on any of the items you purchased that it is for a Lego Set. In fact it clearly states it is for the Instruction Manuals 5 times. The we have the photos which are of the manuals being purchased not a boxed set as you state.
You also failed to mention that all of these manuals went to retired Lego sets and that a 1 minute search of the set #'s

will reveal that these retired sets sell for over $1000.00 and that was selecting the lowest prices that come up on a Google search.
Now had this been for one item you might be able to say that you knew nothing about Lego sets or what they worth. Clearly this was not the case you moved in and out of the Lego Instructions category carefully selecting some of the oldest books listed to some of the most expensive sets out there. You also failed to mention that the books received by you were sealed and that half of them were returned opened up. Clearly when this occurs we have stated that we are under no obligation to issue a refund but we did anyway. In addition you selected insurance for you items which we applied to your entire order. We do not refund insurance fees especially after they were used.
Please stop acting like the victim and accept responsibility for your actions.
