If the Bayles brothers are doing any kind of business, do not hire them. They lie, they stall, and they do shoddy work. Because they didn't open my 3M salt water pool right, I had plaster dust that never went away, as well as algae stains that grew in the 90 degree water that only had chlorine tablets in it because Jake forgot to bring liquid chlorine -- for which I had to drain the pool and have it all acid washed. Then because they didn't do the forms right for the deck and concrete seeped in between the deck and the pool wrecking the deck o seal, tiles have fallen off all over the pool and cracks have formed in the gunite and the decking. The deck o seal has all been stripped, the joint repaired, the tiles replaced twice, the cracks sawed down and patched. Oh did I mention the metal cable ties in the rebar were too close to the surface so I have rust stains on the bottom of my pool? Also there's something clogging my spa jets that has never been identified, so they had to add a blower to get the spa to bubble. Who knows what else will come up, and trust me I haven't even mentioned all the little things that they lied about or messed up. Now I don't believe they're in business anymore, so there's not much I can do about it. However, please don't anyone else use Bayles Pools or Bayles Construction, or you'll likely regret it.
