I reserved a car with Advantage in Ft. Lauderdale. They quoted me a firm price then when I arrived to pick up the car they had a different price and would not back off it -- they added optional insurance and said I could not get a car without it -- I flew for 4 hours, rode a bus to their off airport location for 20 minutes and then argued with their rep for 1/2 hour and finally gave up spending $84 more than quoted for the week. The reps are out for their extra commission at your (the custoner's expense).
